He was raised by a woman known for her lies ( like this and others ) and teaching him to follow her lead.

There was a time you could pity the child, he is far past that now. When young he had to go to work with her and was set up to do commercials and worked on her magazine, that must have been before child labor laws. Whatever he got out of it, he didn't get his own anonymity. We hear tell, the whole family is a symbiotic mess. They sure look that way.
It is doubtful he can ever be redeemed outside the world of her public relation scams, That well protected bubble of Dr. Laura fantasy.
Outside the bubble there is the lurid cartoonist pedophile.

Ask Dr. Laura. When she is not distorting his warning signs, she will pass any of his foibles off as a sense of humor. He's like her or something, oh so witty. As funny as vomit on your french toast.

No one worth their weight in salt would do to a family as she did with her own mother, Yolanda Schlessinger. I know, I know, I've heard all her excuses and not one holds water.

The following was added on to PART 1 in a rush after it was brought to our attention someone did a pathetic job in Dr.Laura Schlessinger's Wikipedia article. They say nothing and didn't include the Independent article that said THE ENEMY WAS CLEARED. Deryk Schlessinger wasn't cleared, his friends weren't cleared. You would think he would want to clear Jon Moldovan, Chris Santory and John Platt. No, the Schlessingers are low life, they respect no one and the phony acts fool fewer people every day. They degrade the decent men and women in our military.

They can lie their way to hell but they will never know truth.

6/20/09 Schlessinger's kooky Wikipedia handlers now have a section about Deryk's lurid MySpace. It is a PR job. They only mention the MySpace and not a word about his photo, they tell you nothing. It is good only for perpetuating lies. The son of Dr. Laura must be thousands of times more creepy then we could of imagined. Be sure to check out his cartoons and that perv look when he is having such fun with the gun in his mouth. (a previous Wiki about his Myspace was bad, but a little better then the current sham)

In 2007, Schlessinger's son, Deryk was involved in a controversy surrounding the content of his MySpace profile. The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Deryk, then serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan had a profile including "cartoon depictions of rape, murder, torture and child molestation; photographs of soldiers with guns in their mouths; a photograph of a bound and blindfolded detainee captioned "My Sweet Little Habib"; accounts of illicit drug use; and a blog entry headlined by a series of obscenities and racial epithets."^[20] Army spokesperson Robert Tallman referred to the content as "repulsive." A later report in the Santa Barbara Independent indicated that the US Army had investigated the case.^[21] Army spokesperson David Accetta stated that he could not comment on whether Deryk Schlessinger had created the profile, but noted: "An investigation was conducted by trooper Schlessinger's chain of command and found nothing that indicated that any foreign government or enemy organization contributed to the webpage."
